July 2006 – Deeds follow words. After the presentation of the Evaporation
and Crystallization SBU at the ACHEMA 2006, eight employees of the SBU
companies held a second technological meeting which had "United for Technology"
as its motto. The objective was to determine the synergy potentials promised to
our customers, which will enable us to offer state-of-the-art technology in the
future without any interfaces. Important process steps from the fields of white
biotechnology, chromatography, electrodialysis, molecular sieve technology,
pervaporation, and liquid/liquid extraction were discussed in detail.
This variety of topics shows which potential is created by the closer
co-operation of the SBU companies and which possibilities we have of offering
our customers the best solution from a wide range of technologies. The
Evaporation and Crystallization SBU should therefore be the only group
worldwide which has such a broad technology portfolio.
