The GEA Group has consistently positioned itself as a company which is worldwide active in specialized engineering and plant engineering. The activities have been concentrated in four segments, which are comprising various divisions. “Process Engineering” is one of them. Several companies of this division have united to form a Strategic Business Unit, aiming at offering focused know-how, innovative technology and extended system solutions in the overall process chain for the fields of evaporation, crystallization and distillation to our customers.

- GEA Messo Crystallization plants for the Chemical industry, salt recovery
downstream processes for Biotechnology industry
- GEA Wiegand Evaporation and distillation technology, mainly for the Chemical, Pharmaceutical and Food and Beverage industries
- Niro Evap. Div. Evaporation technology, mainly for the Dairy industry
Co-ordination of the sales organizations allows quicker access to the market and considerably improves the communication with our customers.
Thanks to internal co-ordination in engineering and project management it will be possible to determine and offer the optimum concept and the best technological solution over the entire technology range to our customers.
In the R & D Departments, synergy potentials are examined and new product developments are prepared for introduction to the market.
UNITED FOR TECHNOLOGY means that, from now on, our customers will only have one interface to all companies supplying evaporation, crystallization and distillation plants in the GEA Group.
