GEA Wiegand has always made significant contributions to the progress of evaporation technology. Above all, the Wiegand falling film evaporator with mechanical vapor recompression has established in dairy industry. The required large evaporation rates combined with extremely economical energy consumption were therefore possible at an early stage.
Today our activities are handled by our sister company GEA Process Engineering SAS.
